Persevera is a metal band formed and started in Sumaré/Brazil in mid-2020 by Danilo Bredda (guitar), together with Paulo Carrara (vocals), Thadeu Castro (bass) and Claudio Lima (drums).
Since then the band has been in the studio for recordings, the material of which is enough for two complete albums. The band's strategy was to release each song as a single, it's a way found by the band to remain more active on social networks.
On August 21st, Persevera released their first album/CD called 'Genesis', which is basically a compilation of all the singles that they released.
The main difference is the mixing and mastering of the first singles. On the CD version, the instruments sound clearer.
At the moment the band is currently focusing on recording their second album.
The band's sound is heavily influenced by 90s heavy metal, but with some more modern elements.
Biggest influences are bands like: Helloween, Iced Earth, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Candlemass, Lamb of God and Machine Head.
