EP Review:
Superdeathflame's new EP "A Tale Of Disclosure" consists of 4 tracks + 1 cover song.
Expecting to hear related music from a band that plays melodic death metal, i got impressed hearing that the compositions of the tracks include electro dance beat in a great combination with fast heavy rhythm. The marriage of these two different sounds is so masterfully done by Superdeathflame that you can't decide whether to dance or headbang. Obviously you can do both with equal pleasure. An amazing combination of the brutal vocals with the wonderful vocals of Ella Tepponen who takes part as a guest vocalist on the EP. Masterful combination of synth electro beats with heavy catchy guitar riffs and fast dynamic drums.
The fourth track "Deforming Delusion", differs from the other 3 tracks because it has a more solid death metal rhythm, with melodic but less electro elements, with the brutal vocals dominating and the female vocals taking a secondary role.
The fifth track on the EP is a cover of song "Heaven Is a Place On Earth" by Belinda Carlisle. Even though the track is made in a metal version with the participation of brutal vocals in addition to the female ones, it does not deviate from its original pop rhythm.
Overall Superdeathflame's "A Tale Of Disclosure" EP is a stunning mix of intense electronic elements that differentiates the usual melodic death metal and makes it enticing and wonderfully unusual. It's a pleasure to listen to from beginning to end.
