I am really happy to be given the oportunity to have the global exclusivity to listen and review the two singles "Trapped" and "United in Death" that Malevolent will release, which are included in their upcoming second and collaborative EP "The Un-Invited", via Necktwister record label.

About 1.5 years ago I had the pleasure of listening and reviewing the self-titled debut EP, which is excellent! Since then, Malevolent have earned a special place in my heart, becoming one of my favorite symphonic metal bands and I've been eagerly awaiting their second release.

Reviews:

The first single "Trappent" is an amazing orchestral power metal composition, with Celica's wonderful voice realistically capturing the lyrics that refer to the human's toxic relationships and the traps we fall into because of our fears of truly loving.
At some points we also hear the lead vocals accompanied by the second vocals of the talented singer Wes Martin who takes part as a guest.
"Trapped" gives us the distinct orchestral metal identity of Malevolent which is a guarantee of auditory pleasure in symphonic metal!

Excellent!
Complete! 10/10

The second single "United in Death" is different and gives us the unexpected and pleasing change of rock ballad. The symphonic parts are also prevalent in this composition, with wonderful piano and an excellent guitar solo.
The surprising difference, however, is made by the wonderful duet of Celica Soldream with singer Rob Lundgren, who takes part as a guest, whose vocal tones match so well that they complement each other.
This wonderful duet gives a cinematic atmosphere to the lyrics of the song, which refer to hope and eternal love, - not necessarily romantic love, - which every person needs in their life in order to be able to fight negativity and depression and come back strong. "United in Death" is a successful musical differentiation in the compositional identity of Malevolent!

Excellent!
Complete! 10/10
